I put it on a queen bed skirt to compare the sizes in the photos. It fits in my holdalls, sleeping bags, chairs, and air mattresses, freeing up the entire trunk and one of the back seats of my Jeep so we're not packed to the brim. Maybe I could fit a little more, but as you can see from the photos it's full! I saw a review say something about it not being waterproof but I think they may have left a zip hole on the front. It doesn't stand, but I moved the small opening to the side so the wind doesn't push the water up the flap and in. The material itself is definitely waterproof. It is clearly stated that it must not be lifted with straps. So if someone did it, it may have created a small crack that allowed water to get in. I'm very happy with this purchase and you can't beat the value for money. I love that it has 2 zippers so I can put a small padlock on it to deter theft at a gas station or other place to eat while camping. If you receive this, be sure to check the load capacity of your roof so you don't flex your roof when packing this item as it can likely hold more than your roof will allow. So keep in mind that for the sake of your car and your back, it's probably better to pack the lighter items in the trunk and the heavier items in the trunk!
