The little pump that could!

Totally amazed at the power of this little guy. Bought it mainly because of the spring flood in our garden. We had a mild winter in Michigan and some heavy rains that caused a lot of flooding. I had to dry it out so I could get a garden in late May. I started pumping late Saturday morning until about 7:30pm and again Sunday until 7pm and it was gone. I didn't use a milk crate or a flat concrete slab. Just install it right on your lawn. It was a great deal of water and this pump handled it! It was very easy to clean. Simply loosen a few screws, rinse out, make sure no coarse sand gets in, turn the head and put the base back on. With a challenge, I recommend this device to anyone who wants to get the job done. My only complaint was that it took a little longer than I was hoping, but I had 200ft of garden hose so it actually worked quite well.

Pros
  • Eliminate standing water in the garden and the risk of attracting mosquitoes. Use WaterBUG to stop the bugs!
Cons
  • Modernity
