High quality materials but poor design. It consists of four separate parts that fit together in no other way than being held together by the pressure of the object you are trying to support. Can only be used when perfectly perpendicular to the ground and the supported object. If you're lucky and it's lined up perfectly, you'll still need at least four hands to hold everything in place when trying to use it. I went ahead and welded everything together to make it work better. As an extra precaution, I painted over the last 3/4" of the thread to indicate the jack was at its maximum extension. Otherwise, you could keep cranking the jack up until it falls apart (uncertain). There is a stopper at the end of the thread attached that I might weld if I think about it before I weld the rest of the jack.I recommend yes.Prices are good materials are strong but you must be willing to weld it together if you are going to use it safely want.
