I like to have them on hand when making smoothies. These straws make drinking a lot easier and I don't have to worry about the straw clogging. I used to use eco-friendly big straws like this before, but they are much better. I drink tea from a straw. I usually just use a straw to take out the tea bags and then add some stevia-based sweetener. When I run out of regular sized straws, I use one of my giant straws until I have more. The other large straw I used melted and bent into the hot tea. This one doesn't, so it's stronger. They worked great for me and I was happy with them.
