They are so easy to use that I can't resist.
I've been installing PEX for 15+ years now and the switch to copper always meant you had to sweat somewhere on a new part. I won't tell you anymore I was told they were short lived but I put one on a floor panel where a brass thief cut the pipe 1/2 inch up and I didn't want to damage the floor so I gave it a try and haven't had one since I got home Leaks more stock appeared on SharkBite.
