I was looking for a way to carry a hydration bladder on longer runs. I have used a 16 ounce bottle or two 8 ounce bottles on my belt for many years. However, on two-hour runs, the fluid ran out after about 1.5 hours. I read many reviews and watched several videos about different hydro vests and settled on this one. I've only used it once (05/17/2020) but am already a fan of it. He poured electrolytes into a flask, and into another water - it turned out to be a lot. Love how easy it was to drink, didn't have to walk. Also, how light is the weight of the vest. I put my phone in my back pocket and was able to reach it while running. I don't normally write reviews and I realize I've only used it once, but I'm very happy with my purchase. I also bought a bladder but haven't used it yet. I plan to use a camera for long bike rides and bottled water for jogs. 06/24/2020: I've already used the vest for 6 runs and I'm still thrilled. It didn't cause any chafing, and while it's usually wet when I get home (due to my sweat), I don't find it uncomfortable at all. So glad I can use the vest instead of the straps - I feel the weight is better distributed. I also like not hearing the water "splash” with every step. Really good buy.
