Be careful with aftermarket products with sensors

I purchased this product. My Avalanche was still giving out codes. Finally took him to the mechanic and he wasn't talking to the computer. I don't know if it's a defect. And yes, we did retraining after installation. I know it's a terrible analogy, but it was very similar to trying to charge an iPhone with a Samsung charger. It seems like GM vehicles don't like messing with aftermarket products with sensors.
