What I like most about this set is that I don't have to deal with flimsy stranded wire that frays and breaks and it allows me to avoid soldering /Tin. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not good at soldering, so I don't want to if I don't have to. I can just crimp the tip, stick it in the terminal block and you're done. Much easier and faster. Much stronger, more reliable and with a better electrical connection. The tips also need to be better for corrosion resistance. The insulation acts as a kind of strain relief, preventing breakage. The kit comes with an instruction manual, but it does not need to be explained in any way. Simply remove about 1 cm, put on the tip and clamp with the tool provided. The tool is very durable and runs smoothly and the included tips come in a variety of sizes so you can get the right size for your project. You really can't go wrong with this one. It's a tool you don't need until you start using it.
