This organizer arrived quickly and was well protected during transit. It is exactly as pictured and described. The finish is rustic brown laminate, no scratches or dents. The instructions are difficult to read and it took about an hour to assemble (much longer than we thought). The screws are Phillips (not hex) so it would be quicker if you had a power screwdriver loaded and ready to go. All holes are pre-drilled and well aligned. When assembled, the device is very heavy and durable. If attaching to drywall I would recommend buying better quality anchors (rather than using the ones that came with the kit). The hardware that comes with it is very cheaply made: the screws come out easily and the shells of the dowels are flimsy. Other than that I'm happy with this piece and really looking forward to installing it and organizing our drill bits and small tools.
