Position correctly the first time
This is a very good product for wall protection when using adjustable shower rods with screws. They replaced the old pole and there were no protectors, then the drywall had to be repaired and repainted. These protectors will prevent this from happening again. Just be very careful when installing them as they really will stick to where you put them. At least it worked for me on a painted wall where the paint was dry a week before installing. Very easy to install and use!
