I am shocked because for me this is one of the best brands when it comes to Apple product compatibility. I've had my laptop and stand for about 3 years now and both are junk now. My laptop splits in half because the stand angle is most likely not perfect for the latest version of the laptop at the time. Anyway, my laptop is now split in half (imagine it's a sandwich where the lid is one of the layers), there is a horizontal hole and I noticed it before but didn't think about it, now it's grown and i threw that standing in the trash because i paid $40 to eventually split my laptop in half. I don't have a picture because it's all in the trash now. I'm very upset because I take very good care of my belongings, but this is just crazy. When you receive this item, do not plan to use it for a long time, and do not even leave your laptop on the stand when not in use as it will deform slowly before your eyes. I'm so disappointed because the whole point was to make sure my laptop didn't heat up, but somehow the "ingenious design" of this laptop combined with the heat to slowly crack my laptop. On a lighter note, a great item if you're going to be using it for less than a year or if you travel a lot. Don't get this if you need to use it a lot, it needs to be used in short periods of time. Always take out your laptop when not in use. Otherwise, you'll slowly break your laptop just by leaving it where it shouldn't be on. However, it's perfect for traveling DJs who don't play too many gigs. So if you are looking for something that will slowly wear down your expensive items over the years, if you think it will actually make your life more convenient, buy it now!
