Bags were EXCELLENT. One of the reviewers said they are difficult to attach to the stand. So I was concerned. But I had no problems at all. They are very easy to put on and take off. So easy that I don't think I would leave her on the bike unattended. My husband offered a small tether to secure them if I wanted to ride downtown and lock the bike with the bags attached. So I wouldn't have to carry them around. BUT ... I went to the store with folded ones and didn't notice them at all. My locks (u-lock and cable) went in easily with the bags folded. I went to the store, took them off and took them with me. They served as my shopping bags. I bought my regular lunch for the week, a gallon of creamer and three cans of dog food. I thought about the weight but wanted to check it. I loaded the bags as evenly as possible and put them back on the bike. No problem. Lots of space to save! The bike is SUPER heavy in the back with bags loaded. My bike is pretty light. Random wheels are one thing! As I was about to get in, I lifted the front end to get off the curb and onto the handlebars! LAUGH OUT LOUD! Glad I haven't been there yet. I sat down and had the bike in a very easy gear in anticipation of the weight, but it was pretty smooth. No real problems. You can feel the weight at the back, especially in corners, but that's not bad at all. I should probably use a grocery bag inside for things that need to stay cold. Or fragile things. Items bounced a little. But it was great. When I got home, I weighed the bags of groceries. I couldn't even get one to check in on the scale. So I had to weigh both. But I felt like I had weighted them fairly evenly. Anyway, my rack has a maximum capacity of 55 pounds. Which seems a lot. I had 21 pounds total, bags and groceries. Not bad. I ride about 140 miles a month weather permitting and it hasn't been hard at all. I would definitely buy this again.
