This wasn't my first oral irrigator so I couldn't help but compare it to my previous version when I tried it. It promised more psi than my non-portable irrigator, but that wasn't my experience. It was also difficult to move to get to the inner gum line. When you tipped it it made a funny noise and didn't help me brush my teeth. I was grateful to return it for a product that was less promising (in terms of psi) but still had much better results. In other words, I'm not sure I can trust a product that claims high psi, but my life experience shows that this product isn't up to the task. Also note that this product does not come with a standard household plug. In general, too many design elements turned out to be useless.
