We bought this to add a Samsung 980 M.2 SSD to expand storage on our PS5. I expected it would be a huge effort to get this on disc and disc in PS5. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it came with a little sticky tape and installed neatly in less than 2 minutes. The disc is then simply inserted into the PS5's expansion slot. The hardest part was gently prying off the PS5 panel, and even then it was very easy and quick. The drive was formatted in less than 2 minutes and works great. Games run fine right off the new hard drive, and we haven't had any overheating or other issues.
