Bought a duffel and saddle bag for my 1992 TDM. They are very large, 122 liters with all 3 bags. That's a huge volume - think two large backpacks. The material feels flexible, durable and waterproof. The straps and clips appear to be of decent quality and are securely fastened. Empty, it's a little tricky to figure out how to attach and secure them—without slamming or hitting the rear wheel or exhaust pipe. There are many straps and clips and with a little thought and patience I'm really happy with how they worked. No, there are no instructions. It would be impossible and if you tried they would be useless - they are designed to adapt to almost any bike. Whether they fit or not depends on what you want and how you can implement it. I haven't used saddlebag mounts and didn't need additional straps/buckles, but I saw that they were needed for bikes that sat lower or if you were going to add bags under the seat. I couldn't get them under my seat because of the seat latches, but this worked better. Sufficient height to keep sacks off pipes. Also, the bottom straps could go right through the rear wheel/fender. They are made the same way as canoe/rafting dry bags, so when rolled, stowed and secured everything fits into place. No, they are not "reliable". Anyone who has a knife or is willing to take the time to detach it can steal it. Attaching saddlebags under the seat makes theft much more difficult, but securing a gym bag becomes more difficult. The weight/volume/cost of reliable hard cases and mounts is not what I was looking for. I haven't installed it for a very long time, haven't driven it many kilometers and haven't used it to its full potential. This is a first review. I think at this price point it would be difficult to find a bag that offers original quality, capacity and versatility.
