Review on Enhance Audio Quality with Scosche EF014F 10-Amp Noise Filter by Eric Cooper

Was disappointed it didn't work for me, it didn't filter electrical noise (60Hz and harmonics). This was the main noise I heard in my truck when driving on local freeways. There was no engine noise, mostly power line noise on AM. I would like Revain or the manufacturer to provide more information about this device, e.g. B. which frequency range should it filter? Now I have no problem installing the unit in my Dodge Ram 1500 truck. The antenna wire has a natural connection just under the glove box on the passenger side and the plastic housing just screws onto one of the screws nearby. I had no trouble connecting this unit to existing antenna ports. I will have to return this device, but now I'm not sure which device to take. I need to buy a device that is clearly intended to filter noise from power lines, and that's what the ad says, not just implied. MojaveDon
