Didn't work for me - Noise Reduction Filter

I bought this filter based on reviews that said if you unplug the antenna from your stereo and the noise goes away that's what you need. The noise went away when I unplugged the antenna, but this filter didn't solve the problem. Always the same noise as without. Return to Revane and continue your quest.

Worst designed product I've ever seen

Whoever designed this component didn't care about the end user. The thing is gigantic for what's inside. Parts are cheap and small. The cables are too short for the dimensions of the outer box. If it didn't work I'd give it 1 star, but the noise dies down at high rpm as intended. Could be 5 times smaller with the same components and better design.

If you listen to 660 AM Sportstalk radio this is for you!

AM radio has always been known for its poor reception. I love sports talk radio, but I can't stand the disruption it brings. It also depends on what radio you have. AM radio seems to turn off first when the radio fails. This adapter helps connect to AM radios, but due to its size it can get in the way when trying to reconnect the radio to your dash.

100% perfect solution to my problem

100% perfect solution to my problem. I found that the high-pitched hum coming from my speakers at low engine speeds was being generated by my alternator and fed to my radio through the antenna wire. If this is your problem (it's easy to check by simply unplugging the radio antenna while the radio is on and seeing if the hissing stops) I'm pretty sure this is what you're looking for. The negative reviews are hard to understand unless it is installed correctly or the noise is NOT fed to the radio

Disappointed it didn't work

Was disappointed it didn't work for me, it didn't filter electrical noise (60Hz and harmonics). This was the main noise I heard in my truck when driving on local freeways. There was no engine noise, mostly power line noise on AM. I would like Revain or the manufacturer to provide more information about this device, e.g. B. which frequency range should it filter? Now I have no problem installing the unit in my Dodge Ram 1500 truck. The antenna wire has a natural connection just under the glove…
