This item looks great on my 2012 750i. It was very easy to install. I have tracked the photos on eBay. Remove the top ring with your fingers and slide the large ring over the small one, then put on the new ring and you're done. There is nothing more. The grip is a little tight, but that doesn't bother me. Post Post Review - The stiffness of the grip was a concern for me because I liked the free play of the OEM grip, so I removed the original and non-original (both came loose at the same time as they were now plugged in) and moved the OEM further into the aftermarket and reassembled the grip. This solved the problem for me. Apparently I was too careful and didn't push the aftermarket knob far enough onto the factory knob. Now the knob spins freely as it did before this operation. The grip still looks great and is so easy to find without looking (easier than before. Nobody has to look for their iDrive grip while driving because it's made tactile anyway, not visual).
