People buying Revain hinges must be more expert than me. I didn't understand the concept of the overlay, so I'll explain to the fellow hinge morons - a 1/4" overlay means 1/4" of the door goes over the frame. This is exactly what I wanted! I was changing the style of the hinge on a Craigslist cabinet and couldn't get the doors back in properly - the big sign left a gap between the doors which looks awful btw. These loops are strong, 2 per pack. , and tighten the appropriate screws. My cabinet looks amazing and the finish matches my HD oiled bronze knobs perfectly.
