Review on AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL FMK565 Discontinued Manufacturer by John Koch

I ordered one of these to fit a new stereo in a Ford Focus, but it also included grommets for the Mercury Cougar - grommets that need to be "flush cut" before you can use them with the Focus. I've tried all kinds of knives and utility knives but have been able to cut through the extremely thick plastic ribs that aren't easily accessible with just a small cutting tool. As a result, the plastic broke at the weakest point. Now I have to decide whether to try sticking this one back in place - and still try to remove the protrusions - or buy a new one - and still try to remove the protrusions. Very frustrating.
