I see. This curling iron is very easy to use. which is very important to me because I've always used my flat iron and not a curling iron or curling iron so this is my first time personally investing in one and I'm happy about it. It's elegant and classy and I love the white and rose gold. I've argued for a long time between this and ghd and I think I made the right choice. It takes a bit to heat up, I'm used to being fully heated up in under 30 seconds with my styling tools, but it takes a little longer. The end of it, the tip, gets hot, but not too hot. It's not like I hold the tip when I use it, but I checked. My 2 girls also played with it, it's so easy to use. It's an investment so I'm happy with it. It comes with a warranty that I *think* lasts for a year (but don't quote me, I'll have to double-check) right through T3.
