Update: Got a replacement stick, 2 days after my request, the new stick works great. It was easy to use and the waves are so beautiful. (I changed my rating from 2 to 5) --- The first one I ordered didn't turn on, I plugged it into several different outlets and nothing. I asked for a replacement, I hope it works.

This was the worst purchase ever. I was wondering what the yellow rings in the middle are for. Apparently they're supposed to be pulling their hair. I burned my ears, scalp and fingers with the glove they gave me and yet the thing didn't frizz my hair. I watched this youtube video on how to use it and I have a similar iron that works like a charm. I would like to return it, but I threw away the box it came in.

I really did a lot of research before I bought this wand. I'm not the picky type, but I don't want to ruin my hair by using crappy things. It was worth the price. It heats up quickly and sits nice and secure while I'm using it in fairly tight spaces. Just my 2 cents. You need to be aware of how close you are to yourself. I have "a lot of thin hair" and can't usually keep curls to save my life. However, the curls/waves last all day and I get tons of compliments using this wand. I love it! Just make sure to use the lowest heat setting for your hair type, I won't go above level 3, it gets HOT.
