Review on RedWolf Tailgate Handle 2004 2014 2009 2016 by George Robinson

No stars for "Transparency" because I have no idea what it refers to. This kit comes with more than enough wire to: 1) get to my truck's cab (8ft box) with a spare wire 2) enough wire to connect power (backup lights) so I cut a few feet. The wiring is encased in a plastic wire harness to protect it. I decided to put another layer of 1/2 inch loom on top for even more protection. The picture quality on my 9 inch GPS screen is pretty good, the photo I took doesn't do it justice. I decided to remove the jumper. (as shown in the picture) The installation looks professional / OEM because the camera is built into the OEM rear door latch, the installation of the camera / latch mechanism is simple and easy. Routing the cable to the cab is a chore, and it's not a reflection of the camera manufacturer, but a testament to how well you want to protect the cable and your personal ability to get it right. A little disappointment. I bought this for easier connection with a trailer .the camera is made specifically for "rear view" and only misses my hitch by about 2 inches, the pics show my solution, I mount a magnetic retriever (red handle) on my hitch , it sticks out about 6 inches when it disappears under the hitch perfectly aligned problem solved The camera now does exactly what I bought it to do.
