I have a 2019 Subaru Outback with a standard 2.5i flat 4 engine. The oil filter is visible immediately after opening the hood. The part number can be found on the side of the engine. This filter fits perfectly. It's sturdy and well made and should last forever. I read reviews of sockets of non-standard quality and I am sure that they are correct. I also believe that the vast majority of them are reliable. I took the new filter to 2 different auto parts stores who said they had the correct filter slot. They didn't, but this one does. End.
