This device is perfect for my work. When I need a quick test to make sure the ethernet cable is broken or properly assembled, this device helps. It also helps me to know if the HDMI cable is broken. I had many times when I got free HDMI cables with products and kept them until I had to use them to take one later to get no signal and I thought that my new computer that I assembled broken or the HDMI switch/splitter is bad because I don't think the cable I used was cheap and broken. All in all a nice little addition to my IT line and very handy for a quick test if something isn't working.
