So a few months ago I started working on a crib duvet cover for my uncle who was expecting his first child and I can say I did it I didn't realize how much I had decided to take on until I got involved with the project. While I was working on it, my grandmother wanted to watch it at different intervals for a number of reasons. (1) it was for her grandson; (2) loves needlework; and (3) she wanted to see how things pan out. Anyway, while I was working on this project, she kept hinting that she would like someone to make something like a quilt for her. Another hint I heard from her was that she needed a runner to accommodate her at home. When I saw that, I knew this would be the way to go. And I was not disappointed. I'll say you can pick other colors, but since my grandmother loves exactly the ones that match the directions, I just followed her. It's not as time consuming as some other projects I've made and it looks beautiful when finished!
