First, Revain increased the price by about $1000 in the last month. OraCa offers it cheaper and if you want I would order from them. My husband is older and can't read well. I even wore glasses so I was hoping it would help him in some way. It's not like this. When I tried this out on myself before getting it to work, I found that it wouldn't read any text unless it was a large black font on a white page next to the window. This gave me a lot of error messages regarding text and light. The volume is not loud enough for us older people. Also, when reading text along with the machine, I found he read too fast and mispronounced the words. wanted it to work I'm sending it back via UPS according to the manufacturer's instructions but was wondering if I should send it insured with an RR request, I hope it doesn't cause any problems.
