The product is good but it is difficult to install compared to similar products I have used. It cannot simply be attached to the wall, but requires a spacer box, which is not included in the scope of delivery. The junction box is needed because the uplink port is on the back (facing the wall), so the ethernet cable that provides uplink and power protrudes 1-2 inches from the back when connected. You can see it here: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/technotes/8-4/b_AP_1815_wall_plate_deployment_guide.html#task_CDEFE1DE3F454293B05A04C2B9AC7534 hard to find and costs 30-40$ . I used a standard 1-post wall junction box as the junction box and it worked fine. For comparison see Netgear WAC510 Wireless Access Point: dh=UTF8&psc=1 The uplink port is on the top, so no spacer is needed. I haven't used a Cisco product long enough to rate it in any other way or compare it to other products other than installation.
