    Died after 3 months

After purchasing in July the whole system died when I tried to reset the system to get better signal strength. Revain wouldn't let me post what I really think of this system, so I just had to keep it simple this time.

    Pros
    • Normal price
    Cons
    • Weak set

Works well for computers and accessories at the moment

I had a Comcast modem/router and Wi-Fi kept coming and going. I then bought an Arris surfboard modem/router to replace the Comcast router and it works fine except for wifi. It's not stable. More stable than a Comcast router but still disconnects etc. Then I bought a business class Wi-Fi hotspot from TP-Link to use for Wi-Fi. It also turned off when my two kids attended Zoom sessions at school and I was working from home. simultaneously. Once or twice a day and almost always during my son's zoom

    Pros
    • Same as everything before
    Cons
    • Expensive

    Good, but difficult to assemble

The product is good but it is difficult to install compared to similar products I have used. It cannot simply be attached to the wall, but requires a spacer box, which is not included in the scope of delivery. The junction box is needed because the uplink port is on the back (facing the wall), so the ethernet cable that provides uplink and power protrudes 1-2 inches from the back when connected. You can see it here: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/technotes/8-4/b_AP_181…

    Pros
    • Everything is fine!
    Cons
    • There are nuances

    Very simple and very powerful!

Use three of these devices in one room for seamless roaming. It can be as simple as turning them on and they just work, or digging deeper to tweak an amazing array of different settings. For my needs, I like the ability to broadcast multiple SSIDs to each device over different VLANs, separating employees and guests. Connect them to a switch that provides POE, but I've used it with a regular switch and a POE injector for a while. Works perfectly. I recommend reading the instructions carefully…

    Doesn't work for network products

We needed a better Wi-Fi system to replace our Google setup which died after a year so after reading the reviews we decided on this one. My husband is a cybersecurity expert (that pays the bills) and has always loved Cisco products. At the same time, it took more than 3 days for setup and daily "tweaking". We have fiber optic internet and this has reduced our internet speed and kept dropping the wifi signal. We would have to reset it at least twice a day and wait almost 10 minutes for it to…

    • Great selection
    Cons
    • Long wait

    Reliable WiFi connection

Reliable, never drops connection unlike Unifi AC Pro Gen2. The management portal runs on the device itself and can be accessed over a wired network. The user interface is very simple and once configured, the device does not require any attention.

    Pros
    • Feels good
    Cons
    • Definitely a bad product

Unfinished application, poor RF performance. Upset. Returned.

We moved into a new 1960's house with a separate garage/loft 10 meters from the back door which was not connected to the internet in the main house. My existing Peplink Mini AC access points failed to network, but my old Apple AirPort Extreme base stations were able to learn and stay connected. I am currently using a Peplink Balance One router which provides failover and prioritization of our traffic (WFH, online school/kids, entertainment and short term guest access) which has otherwise been…

    Pros
    • Not cheap but decent
    Cons
    • Nothing

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

Should be a great system but they are really mediocre.

I was initially very happy with these but they seem to require so many little things that I just can't recommend them. Their UI is way worse and more confusing than Ubiquiti, Aruba, Ruckus or even Linksys or TP-Link hardware. As a network engineer with over 10 years of experience using hundreds of different products from dozens of vendors, I cannot recommend them. You are just bad.

    Pros
    • An absolute legend
    Cons
    • Communication with seller
