Here's what I said to another person who commented positively on these gloves, including saying they are very heat resistant: "Heat resistance? Do you mean that seriously? Who is paying you for this review? received (perhaps partly due to your and other positive feedback) mine 5 minutes ago. After putting one on, I took the lighter and held it for a second or two with a flame about 3 inches below the cure of one hand (some of it would be almost exposed to molten metal if I used the torch in that hand and on the workpiece drove along), and I immediately felt warm - as if the gloves weren't even there! So I'm debating whether to return it or not. They look and feel like great work gloves; and it's coming from a guy who hates wearing gloves. But heat resistant - last but not least!
