I've paired these with slotted and slotted rotors and I think the stopping power is the same or even a little less than the factory. After 50,000 miles if I do it again I will switch to more aggressive pads like z23 or z36. They don't produce dust like my factory pads. For those who have doubts about my installation, I have cleaned the slide pins and used a suitable silicone lubricant and lubricated the backing or sealing clip. I put a small amount in the caliper fork. After installation, I immediately took a break from the procedure, it's painful, but necessary. Be prepared to do this on some back roads as this will take 15-20 minutes and you don't want to be stuck in traffic as you will be driving slowly and making multiple stops at up to 8km/h.
