I wasn't aware that it comes with two different ear accessories so I was pleasantly surprised to find that you can switch between bear ears and deer antlers. She seems to sharpen pencils efficiently and quickly. I bought this sharpener because I'm tired of constantly hand sharpening my crayons and it sharpens them, it just doesn't seem as good as regular pencils. I wouldn't be surprised if it wears out quicker than it should because I plan to use it more with colored pencils than regular graphite pencils. It definitely sharpens better than the manual sharpeners I have and so far I'm very happy with it. . It seems, that you have to use the blue little tool that comes in the kit to sharpen pencils or else the pencil will want to turn. I think this will also help when the pencils get really short and you can still try to sharpen them without worrying about safety issues or anything like that.
