My QT-110 fan motor got very noisy. But since the fan is over 15 years old, I can't complain. I was very happy to find a replacement motor myself and save the expense of replacing the entire fan. I reused the squirrel cage, fasteners and insulator (check yours first, if its bad get the whole block with the cage, fasteners and insulator). All I had to do was put a 1/4" thick nylon washer between the motor and fan to keep the back of the fan from touching the mounting nuts. This replacement is silent as the original was new. Installation is very easy .
