I haven't worked with clay in a while so I had to test it with old Sculpey clay. First of all I have to say that I think this is a smart hand extruder that comes with lots of metal disks to create different shapes. I had to work with the clay a bit to soften it, but this tool worked exactly as intended. It's easy to attach the disc to the end where you are placing the clay and then screw the disc to the tool, then simply start turning the handle and the clay will begin to flow in a pattern through the holes in to flow to the disc. If you work with clay at all and don't have it, get it. It's inexpensive and worth having consumables in your craft as well.
