great for soap dough

that's great for soap dough! I made a snake out of dough and put it in the extruder and I was able to make "eyes"! I used my Cricut and cut out another shape on a cutting mat. i hope it works too. I used the tree setting to carve it. I have enjoyed using it so far!

Pros
  • Extruders, mixers and clay presses
Cons
  • Something different

I use several different clays, the polymer oven is one of the most difficult. I take a piece, stick it in a little stick/worm for a few seconds, and then stick it in this tool. Insert the punch in the cover, put on the plunger and screw it on. No effort - a pasty form is created. In fact, it is easier to use than a plasticine children's set. Some putty will cover the chamber in places when it's done - rolling and swirling a damp paper towel in the chamber will clean it out.

Pros
  • crafts and sewing
Cons
  • boring packaging

What a handy little tool!

I haven't worked with clay in a while so I had to test it with old Sculpey clay. First of all I have to say that I think this is a smart hand extruder that comes with lots of metal disks to create different shapes. I had to work with the clay a bit to soften it, but this tool worked exactly as intended. It's easy to attach the disc to the end where you are placing the clay and then screw the disc to the tool, then simply start turning the handle and the clay will begin to flow in a pattern…
