My garden birds and squirrels love it when it gets colder. They prefer a food bowl that they can use to carry a nugget away, but will also peck at the food bowl on the packaging. I find it much nicer to eat a whole nugget alone. They go through stages of cleaning the feeder and then getting tired of too many good things. I have found that my birds have become noticeably stronger from eating which has helped them through the severe cold months. I started mixing them with birdseed and they seem to like it. I recommend this product for colder climates.
