There were concerns about ordering my Shark NV26 but other reviews said it would work. The metal spring feels a little smaller, but the folds of expanding plastic feel a little deeper. When stretched, this hose stretches much more than the original hose. It doesn't always retract completely when vacuuming, but stays out of the way. I think this is because the metal spring is smaller than the original or the plastic is softer. I used a short piece of old hose to fix the short bottom hose that goes to the brush head. Works fine for me. Now it works like new. This vacuum cleaner has always had good suction power. So I decided to fix it.
