Review on 💦 Enhance Water Softening Efficiency with the 7085263 Water Softener Valve Cover by Jeremy Carpenter

My sump pump ran more than usual and I could hear water in my (15 year old) water softener drip, drip, drip when I was around. After removing the plastic cover, I saw that water droplets had formed near one of the mounting screws on the top cover (causing the hose to overflow into the pit). After removing the top, I found the gasket was fine, but the lid had a hair-thick crack. The new one fits perfectly and the drops are defeated! Drain off excess water and salt again. Glad I kept the manual (although they are all available online now!). Drops are still hitting 2 months later so they've been good for over a decade! Exact replacement part!
