I usually use Lizard Skins bar tape because it's very grippy and has saved my bacon on a number of occasions when I'm not careful. The Lizard Skins Tape gets a 10 or 10 for stickiness. Domain Cycling's extra-long gel bar tape scored a 9 out of 10 for stickiness. But the durability more than makes up for it. I'm very picky about the tape on the handlebars, and Lizard Skins last about half a season. Domain Cycling's extra-long handlebar gel tape lasted two full seasons. I have to cover a lot of rod bends on each band or else I'm seeing the same issues that others have written about here. In my experience, this tape is more durable than Lizard Skins. The only thing they could do better would be to close that little gap so it becomes as sticky as lizard skins. The steering tape of both brands saved me from accidents on rough roads. This bar tape is the best tape I have ever used. I just ordered another set for a new bike which is why I'm posting this review.
