This square is slightly thinner and slightly longer than the regular square. Although it looks chunky, I find it to be as ergonomic as any square and the weight is almost identical. It needs to be hollowed out. The square's bearing surface isn't perfectly ground, but that's normal with all these inexpensive squares. The clasp is strong and straight, with precision ground edges. Screw and nut are made of brass. The nut is very large and has good knurling. It's a fairly large piece of brass, which is nice. Everything works exactly as it should. Accuracy is good out of the box. The spirit level is large, bright and easy to read. It appears to be molded into a single block of resin. Cons: The only downside to this square is that the nut/bolt/spring will fly out when you remove the bolt. This is easy to fix. Takes about 10 minutes. Then it is a perfect square. If you're wondering how, just ask. Apart from this quirk, there is nothing to complain about.
