Love these. after finding out what types of paper they are compatible with. On low-quality paper, they tend to seize up and don't mix at all. The following papers have worked very well: Arches WC, Bockingford, St Cuthberts Mill WC, Daler-Rowney Langton WC (also from St Cuthbert Mill) and cheaper than the previous two, Windsor & Newton WC - they have changed. Manufacturer - was St Curthberts Mill. I'm not sure who their current manufacturer is but their new paper is called 'Classic' which will be the only one available after the current stock of paper is sold out. Should work well and be more economical than your current paper. These markers work well with traditional watercolors as well as liquid watercolors. Great for travel. I highly recommend them. And by the way, they are lightfast!
