I am comparing this product to the Apple Magic Keyboard which for me failed at 16 months with AppleCare refusing to cover replacement, so I was happy to locate this product as a potential replacement. On receipt, both the cover and keyboard seem to be of excellent quality, especially given the price point. The keyboard is much better than the Magic Keyboard and, if my primary use was to be at a desk for extensive typing, this product would be perfect. But, out of that situation, problems surface. Firstly, it is significantly bulkier and heavier when carting around or packing. When you want to read using your iPad in portrait mode, or simply using the iPad for viewing a video while sitting in a lounge chair, the loose keyboard must be set aside and the substantial case becomes a detriment, awkward and heavy. For me this became a deal killer. So, in spite of it being an excellent product for some uses, I will be returning it.
