This isn't the first time I've bought a cage stand. I've used table stands in the past and never liked the quality of them, the storage shelves underneath always looked cluttered when I was using them and they tend to take up a lot of space. It was a great, simple and compact alternative. The looks are nothing special and the quality is not outstanding. But for my purposes it is sufficient and worth the price. Currently, the stand holds a cage weighing just over 13 pounds with no discernible strain, and the base of the stand holds everything above it firmly enough that an accidental bump here and there won't affect it. which I didn't do. For example, the longest part in the middle has a slight slope after assembly, and I wish there were more nuts to cover the sharp ends of the bolts on the base for cosmetic reasons. The pros far outweigh a few minor cons. Overall a great product that I would recommend to anyone looking for a decent cage stand on a budget.
