It doesn't fit in my guinea pig cage

I was hoping it would fit in my Midwestern "guinea pig habitat", but it doesn't. the cell does not match the spacing between the bars. If I attached it the litter box would float a good 5 inches off the ground rendering it unusable. :-( Since it can't hold on to the cage, my skinny pig can just walk around the cage and pee afterwards. Also, the holes are too big for my skinny pig's legs and it falls right through. Waste of money. Even though the broom shovel is ok is
