. So it will almost fit NTP threads but since the thread depth is different you will end up with a poor seal unless you have a very high quality pipe additive. I tried attaching it to the 3/4" valve (instead of the coupler) with teflon tape - it was leaking. I was lucky enough to have a couple of 1/2" swivel adapters to try with the adapter kit that came with them and they fit perfectly (I also tried a regular 1/2" NTP connector but that had no thread either). I somehow managed to lose one of the 1/2" adapters so I did a little research on pipe attachment and selected the best I could find for drinking water and fitted it to my 3/4" NTP Valve tried again and it worked! no leaks! But I wouldn't bet on it being leak free the second time around.
