Review on 🔌 Neon Glowing Strobing Electroluminescent Wires 4-Pack - 5M 15ft (Blue, Green, Red, Yellow) by Ricardo Knight

I bought this product to use as accent lighting for miniature photography. I photograph miniature figures and thought I'd try to bring some light into the background of my landscape with these garlands. I can't believe I spent $25 on this. It's not a lot of money to me, but it's not worth a penny or your time. They are not bright at all. In the dimly lit room you can hardly tell they are lit. I don't know how the people in the demo photos are so well lit. I can't imagine incorporating them into a costume or outfit for a music festival or convention. I doubt you can even see lights in anything other than total darkness. These lights would probably be brighter if the controller didn't waste a ton of power by making a very annoying high-pitched squeak. I've tested each filament of light and also tried swapping out different batteries - same result every time. Control units make high noises. They also start to warm up some time after you turn them on. I doubt they get hot enough to be dangerous, but I would be concerned about battery life. Such lanterns should not heat up, and certainly not make noise. This is a sign that energy is being wasted on things you don't need, resulting in unnecessary battery drain. I probably won't even return them. They just end up straight in the trash. I've spent my time and money on them. don't be like me
