When going to the trouble of creating a costume or outfit. Spend more money for better quality. El Wire is very temperamental and closes very easily. The light is bright and easy to use. They look beautiful but are very fragile.

Made a cute DIY Neon Light sign with this for my girlfriend's poolside bachelor pad. Hooked it up to the switch inside so he didn't have to keep buying batteries. When it's on, it even buzzes like a real neon light.? (That's cool) Glows bright and looks amazing!

I bought these specifically to create a glow in the dark men costume like the ones you see online. The wire is twisted, so it is difficult to lay it flat/straight. I used safety pins to "pin" the wires to clothing. That worked well enough for me. The wires are bright, much brighter than buying glow sticks from the dollar store and gluing them together into a stick figure. I received several compliments on my costume!
