This product thoroughly removes plaque from jewelry without the hassle of other wipes. It leaves a beautiful polished finish on any metal I've used it on. As expected, once the surface darkens the substance loses its potency, but I found this happened too quickly to get a perfect score. So 4 stars for the price. So for heavily tarnished items I first use a soft cotton fabric or a cheap name brand fabric to remove the worst of the tarnish and then use a Sunshine fabric to give that beautiful polished sheen that I love. This extends the life of the Sunshine and I think it's worth it. It still gets 5 stars from me. I have made many repeat purchases and often recommend it to friends who have always thanked me for the recommendation.
