Review on Case Thermaltake Core V21 (CA-1D5-00S-1WN) by Stanislaw Siwak ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

The case is definitely one of the best for more or less interesting assemblies. Noctua NH-D15 fits here with two coolers, though one has to be changed to 120mm, otherwise a 200mm fan won't fit on top. Temperatures in this case tend to be minimal, even with hot processors and video cards. It turns out that 2 side walls are blown, the front and a little back. I have all the coolers installed with step-down resistors, while the temperatures on the ryzen 1800x overclocked to 4.02 GHz do not exceed 62.5 degrees after 5 hours in RDR2, the 1080ti video card was 46 degrees so far the maximum was. Haven't played benchmarks. About compactness. I can’t say that it is smaller than the average case, but on the other hand, everything that fits into it will not fit in the average case. So in terms of compactness and the ability to cram large components, this is one of the best cases. If you have questions - ask.

Pros
  • ease of assembly is the main thing in this case, you can crawl everywhere, absolutely all side walls are removed and swapped. the design of the system unit is sturdy, nothing staggers and does not walk.
Cons
  • there is no dust filter from the bottom in front, while the cells there are quite large. on top there is a marking for a 20cm fan, but the holes do not match, you have to bend this fastener and somehow crookedly you can push a 20cm fan
