It's everything they should be: easy to install, thin, not visually unattractive, and they work well as an entry sensor. However, the supplied adhesive tape is of absolutely poor quality. Nobody told us they "just fall off" after a few days and weeks after spending time installing them. While this is frustrating in itself, the bigger problem is that if your alarm is on and they fall, the alarm will go off. It would be awful when we are asleep and very unsettling when we are not at home (or we can get home when the alarm goes off). The cops would go to the house etc. I wish this possibility was mentioned in the simplisafe installation guide when we first installed it - it would save us a lot of energy to worry and uninstall them all and then in a hurry (before the alarm) to reinstall goes out). How to proceed: Use the screws that are supplied with the sensors. If you're like us and don't want to drive screws into wood or walls, buy some strong tape like the Gorilla brand or use silicone to attach them. You can also put the sensors on the bottom of the windows and lean against the sill to make them less likely to fall (we had them on top so gravity pulled them down!). Shame on you, simplesafe, for omitting this very important installation information. We're now disillusioned with the brand and worried about arming our system rather than feeling safe.
